Well, I'm not an anarchist who hates her country, that be clear...anyway I'm not proud to be Italian.
I'm not proud of my country, a country where freedom of speech and expression DO NOT exist, a country where foreigners are more tutelaried than Italians, a country where if you rape and commit some criminal acts you get house arrest, a country where PUBBLIC TELEVISION is directly controlled by govern. How be proud of a country that is decreased in 67° place according to the Statewatch Observatory In Defence of Freedom and Democracy? How be proud of a country with a Catholic government, where Pope always encroaches upon governmental affairs? How be proud of a country that proclaim himself laic but doesn't allow people to marry who they want?
It's impossibile to be proud of a country like that.
When somebody says "I'm not proud to be italian" immediantly people reply "But our has been a great country, we're such a beautiful country, full of art, full of wonderful cities and good cuisine!"
And so? In Italy born some great men of genius like Galileo, Da Vinci, Michelangelo but we can NOT live in the past. We cannot see only into the past or say what a beautiful cities we have. We have to see into the present and the truth is that we live in a ROTTEN counrty. A homophobic country, governed by seventy-year old men that can offer nothing good to the nation.

This is the situation. We could see it or ignore it, keep saying "what a beautiful city Venice is, what a great course spaghetti are, long live to Italy!" but the truth is that we are proud to be italians only when we win the World Cup. That's enough. The rest is rot.
I envy so much the Americans in this period 'cause they have such a young and innovative president...or the Spanish people that surpassed us far-back...

Allora, non sono un'anarchica che odia il proprio paese, sia chiaro, però non sono fiera di essere italiana.
Non sono fiera del mio paese, di un paese dove la libertà di espressione e parola NON esiste, dove gli stranieri sono più tutelati degli italiani, dove se stupri e delinqui ti becchi i domiciliari, dove la TELEVISIONE PUBBLICA è direttamente controllata dal governo. Come essere fieri di un paese che è sceso al 67° posto secondo l'Osservatorio Mondiale delle Libertà Civili? Come essere fieri di un paese dove vige un governo filo-cattolico, dove il Papa si intromette di continuo nelle questioni governative? Come essere fieri di un paese che si proclama laico ma che non permette alle persone di sposare IN COMUNE chi vogliono loro?
Non si può essere orgogliosi di un paese così.
Quando uno non si dimostra fiero di essere italiano subito si sente dire "Ma siamo stati un grande paese, siamo un paese bellissimo, colmo d'arte, di belle città e buona cucina".
E allora? In Italia sono nati colossi dell'umanità come Galileo, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, ma non si può vivere nel passato. Non possiamo guardare solo il passato o quanto sono belle le nostre città. Dobbiamo guardare il presente e la verità è che viviamo in uno stato MARCIO. Uno stato omofobo, governato da vecchietti settantenni che nulla di buono possono offrire alla nazione.

Questa è la situazione. Si può guardare o far finta di niente e continuare a dire "ma che bella che è Venezia,che buoni che sono gli spaghetti, viva l'Italia" ma la verità è che siamo fieri di essere italiani solo quando vinciamo i mondiali. Basta. Il resto è marciume.
Quanto invidio gli americani in questo momento...con un presidente giovane e innovativo....o gli spagnoli, che ci hanno superato ormai da anni sotto tutti i punti di vista...
